Welcome to my new blog. I'm on my way to a new chapter of my life...homeschooling, so I've started a new blog that will incorporate that. Homeschooling is a fairly new adventure for me. My husband was homeschooled, as I like to tell my friends, "when homeschooling wasn't cool.":) And he survived. Well, more than survived...thrived, and I knew it would always be an option for our family. We are almost finished with our first year of kindergarten with our oldest daughter aka Scamp. Our youngest daughter, aka, Scoodle, is still toddling around and learning way more than you'd think just be observing.
We've had ups and downs:
Ups: having awesome homeschooling friends that we meet with once a week for science lessons.
Downs: struggling over learning styles and curriculum
But, this is all a learning experience for us. God will provide what we need when we need it. I plan on sharing the positives and negatives of our curriculum, projects, additional resources like books and websites, etc, in hopes that we can track our progress and help others through their learning journeys.
I am an avid reader and aspiring writer; therefore, my Created to Learn Blog will also include reviews on the books I enjoy reading. As well, God has given me a passion for teens and has allowed me the opportunity to minister to teens and their parents through my other blog, Teen Lit Review. I, along with several other ladies, review teen and young adult books based on their content.

Welcome to homeschool! Love the blog! Excited to see where your journey leads you. We are completely our first homeschooling year- Kindergarten with a little 1st grade and I gotta say, I love it more than I thought we would. Excited about year two with doing more schooling for our preschooler, 1st grade and juggling the toddler and newborn! :)
Hope you are doing well! And btw, I was homeschooled when it wasn't cool and we all survived as well. LOL
